I want to like it, they just make it hard. I was very dedicated to dragon blaze for years, but they never adapted to convenience features to help people with busy lives play their game. They've entirely shifted from the gems for cosmetics play for progression, which most likely doomed the predecessor. Very story driven, to the point that it becomes a detriment. The gameplay holds it back with long, boring stages. Early game progression is more of a job than fun. Hope it gets better.

Abysmal AI/ autoplay. I will manually move my characters out of AoEs only for the game to immediately take over and force them back into the danger area and get hit. Even on full auto, without my intervention, they willingly roll into red circles to get hit. Bosses just become HP Sponges, and there's an HP reduction mechanic on your characters. So if you get hit by too many attacks, suddenly all of your characters can only heal to 50% of their max HP. Why??? It makes no sense. Terrible design.

Great game with mediocre developers. Truly is a game with lots of potential, but the endless amounts of bugs, glitches, and the recent questionable QoL changes will be the slow death of an otherwise amazing game. It is 2024, and this game is 2D. The whole point of 2D is to maximize gameplay flow with a touch of nostalgia. Yet it runs like it was made in the early 2000s. I haven't seen a game this laggy, buggy, and glitchy since Nintendo first started doing online games well over a decade ago.
